Adam
Reuter joined the military at age 18, seeking out a recruiter just 3
weeks after 9/11. After being in the National Guard for two years, he
went active at age 20, and was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado. In
Iraq, he was part of 66 Military intelligence company, 3rd
squadron, 3rd armored cavalry regiment Position: 96R – Ground
Surveillance Radar Operator. Adam was deployed to Iraq as E-1 (private),
and pinned as E-4 (specialist) after returning from Iraq.
Adam tells us about why he opposes a war he personally fought in, as
well as discussing an overnight firefight he was involved in, and much
more about his time in Iraq.
